Not every product under this heading is a process valve controlling flow in a pipeline — a good share of what we hold here are pneumatic directional control valves (spool and poppet valves) that route compressed air inside an automation circuit rather than liquid or gas through a process line. Both end up filed as "valves," but they're specified completely differently. Z & F Corporation Ltd supplies 584 genuine lines across both types, from 22 manufacturers. The Two Main Groups Process valves — ball, globe, and control valves, specified by body material, end connection, size, and Cv, used to control flow of a process fluid. Pneumatic control valves — solenoid-piloted spool and poppet valves (3/2, 5/2 configurations), specified by port size, voltage, and base/manifold interface, used inside automation and actuation circuits. If you're not sure which one you need, the giveaway is usually what's on the other side of it: a process valve sits in a pipe carrying the product itself; a pneumatic control valve sits in an air line feeding an actuator or cylinder somewhere else in the system.
