The Allen-Bradley 1753-IB20XOB8 is a GuardPLC digital combination I/O module offering 20 safety inputs and 8 safety outputs on a 24V DC supply, with 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connectivity via two RJ45 ports on an integrated switch — allowing GuardPLC modules to be daisy-chained on the network without a separate switch.
The power supply feeding this module must meet IEC 61131-2's protective-separation requirement, tolerating a -15% to +20% variation on the nominal 24V DC, which is standard practice for safety-rated I/O in a GuardPLC safety system.
