Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB8 is a ControlLogix digital DC output module with 8 channels, wired as current-sourcing outputs on a 12V or 24V DC field supply, rated 2A sourcing per point. As a sourcing output module, it switches the positive supply rail out to each field device, the standard wiring convention for 12/24V DC industrial output circuits.

The module is listed in Rockwell Automation's current 1756 ControlLogix I/O Modules Specifications technical data documentation (publication 1756-TD002) alongside the rest of the standard digital I/O range.
