The DFT Basic-Check is a threaded in-line check valve, built to permit flow in one direction only and close automatically to prevent backflow when flow reverses or stops.

As a threaded (screwed-end) design, it is intended for smaller pipe sizes where NPT or BSP connections are the standard, rather than the flanged or wafer styles used on larger DFT check valves elsewhere in this range.
