The DFT PDC is a flanged pulse-damping check valve, designed to smooth out the pressure pulsations generated by reciprocating pumps or compressors while still providing standard check-valve backflow protection.

Pulse-damping internals reduce the pressure spikes that can otherwise fatigue piping, instruments, and downstream equipment on positive-displacement pump discharge lines.
