Product Description

The DFT Vacuum Breaker is a threaded in-line check valve designed to admit air into a line when a vacuum condition develops, preventing the line or connected equipment from collapsing or siphoning back.

This is a different function from a standard check valve, which blocks reverse liquid flow — a vacuum breaker instead opens to relieve negative pressure, commonly used on pump suction lines or siphon-prone piping runs.
