This temperature transmitter is built for a 4-wire PT100 (385 alpha curve) RTD sensor input, housed to an IP66/68 ingress rating for washdown or outdoor duty, and operating at 42.2V with a 23 mA current draw. The 4-wire RTD connection eliminates lead-resistance error from the measurement, giving better accuracy than a 2-wire or 3-wire hookup over longer cable runs.
