Product Description

The Honeywell HAF Series is a digital airflow sensor from Honeywell's Zephyr range, covering this unit's 0-200 L/min flow range. It reads gas flow via a thermally isolated heater and temperature-sensing element pair, which responds quickly to changes in air or gas flow across the sensing element.

Output is digital, over an I2C interface, with a 1 ms response time — fast enough for closed-loop flow control rather than simple indication. The sensor is factory calibrated and temperature-compensated by an onboard ASIC, remaining accurate across a 0 degC to 50 degC compensated range while tolerating operating extremes of -20 degC to 70 degC.
