This VLT AutomationDrive FC 300 (FC 302 series) is a 15 kW / 20 HP variable frequency drive for a 3-phase 380-500V AC supply, built without an integral brake chopper, in an IP20 chassis (open) enclosure for cabinet mounting.

Because this unit has no integral brake chopper, an external braking resistor and chopper module would be needed for applications requiring active deceleration or overhauling-load braking; standard variable-torque or non-braking duty does not need one.
